NLU releases the exam date for AILET 2019...

The exam dates of All India National Law Entrance Test (AILET) for the year 2019 has been released by the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. The exam will be held on 5th May, 2019 from 3 pm to 4 pm in various centres across India. The admission notice and online application form will be available on the official website of NLU from the 1st week of January, 2019. This exam is conducted to offer admission to the aspirants in 5 year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2019 conducting body is National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO). According to the sources, the CLAT 2019 examination will be held on May 12, 2019. CLAT 2019 will be conducted for 20 NLUs including Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur (MPDNLU). NLU Odisha will be announcing the admission notification of Common Law Admission Test in December 2018. The CLAT is a national level law entrance exam that is conducted on a rotational basis by the National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes in the participating National Law Universities of the CLAT Core Committee. The CLAT 2019 will be conducted online. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/ May 2019 are also eligible to appear in CLAT exam.For PG Programmes:Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for the post-graduate program.Academic Qualification: Candidate must have an LLB or any other equivalent degree. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2019 are also eligible to appear in exam. However, they have to show a hard copy of the proof of their passing the qualifying examination in the respective National Law Universities at the time of admission.CLAT 2019 Exam Pattern:The CLAT 2019 will be conducted online and the question pattern will be MCQs. The CLAT UG test paper will consist of 200 questions. Multiple choice questions subjects will be English including Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. CLAT PG paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions from topics such as Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and Other law subjects (Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law and Human Rights, etc).
